Directions to the Log
Cabin:
Travel into Donaldsonville on either Hwy 70 or LA 1. Head South on
Hwy 1, 3 miles. Approximately halfway between Donaldsonville and
Belle Rose Hwy 943 meets Hwy 1. This is at the Palo Alto Bridge and
mile marker 116 - Turn right (if traveling N. on Hwy 1 turn left)
Continue on 943 about 3.6 mi. at which point the road will take a
right angle. Continue on an additional 1.3 mi. at which point you
must turn left onto Township Road. Be sure to keep the Entergy
SubStation on your right. After turning onto Township, continue .7
mi. The road will make a right angle at the Coral and turn into a
gravel road. From this point, continue 1 mi. until you reach the red
gates. Turn into the gates and follow the shell road .2 mi. and make
the first right onto another shell road. Continue until you see the
Log Cabin on your left. |
